Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef (preferably 80% lean)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 burger buns
  • Optional toppings: lettuce, tomato, cheese, pickles, onions, ketchup, mustard

Instructions

  • Prepare the Patties:
In a large bowl, mix the ground beef with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
Gently shape the mixture into 4 equal-sized patties. Make a small indent in the center of each patty with your thumb to prevent them from puffing up during cooking.
  • Cook the Burgers:
Heat a skillet or grill over medium-high heat.
Cook the burgers for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or longer if you prefer them more well-done.
  • Toast the Buns (Optional):
While the burgers are cooking, toast the burger buns in the skillet or on the grill for 1-2 minutes until golden and crispy.
  • Assemble the Burgers:
Place each cooked burger patty on a toasted bun. Add your desired toppings such as lettuce, tomato, cheese, pickles, onions, ketchup, and mustard.
  • Serve & Enjoy:
Serve the burgers immediately with a side of fries or salad.
